Classes

We Create and Play! My art classes pay special attention to the process of creation. They are usually open-ended, choice-driven, and celebrate the experience of discovery. The classes are held in the backyard of my Atlantic Beach home accompanied by the sounds of the most amazing birds. Each class is one hour with a ten min “play-break”. I love beautiful illustrated children books, and always read my current favorites at the end of the class.

The classes are for kids ages 2 to 12 and are focused on developing fine motor skills using 2D and 3D artistic activities like painting, beading, yarn-wrapping, assembling or decorating fun objects. A lot of our projects use recycled materials, teaching children the importance of reusing materials and transforming them in beautiful and unique pieces.
